Engine
Flexible elements for near-engine use absorb thermal expansion in the area of the manifold or decouple high-frequency vibrations caused by exhaust gas turbochargers, for example.
Exhaust gas recirculation lines and lines for oil and water as gas-tight lines compensate vibrations, thermal expansion and installation tolerances. They are made from thin-walled tubes to the customer's specification. Thanks to the appropriate choice of material the products are heat-resistant and corrosion-resistant, and thanks to the thin-walled starting tube have only a low weight.
Air tube dampers in the fuel injection system of SI engines damp pressure pulses and thus permit smoother engine running.
HYDRA® precision bellows as wear-free and maintenance-free diaphragms are used for media separation in pumps, pressure accumulators and pressure dampers. A further field of use is the pressure-resistant and flexible sealing of piezo actuators and sensors in modern fuel injectors or sensor glow plugs.
