Calculation
In order to be able to keep pace with our customers’ ever shorter development cycles, reliable calculation results are important from the very beginning of development projects. Modern FEA programs such as PATRAN, NASTRAN and MARC allow most of the relevant component characteristics to be calculated even at the initial stage. Apart from the stresses and strains for durability calculations, functional properties such as the static and dynamic stiffness, natural frequencies and stability limits can also be calculated.
FE models of the Witzenmann products for static and dynamic analyses can also be provided to our customers at an early stage. This ensures that the properties of Witzenmann components are correctly represented in the customer’s system model with minimum effort.
Thanks to the close cooperation between calculation and testing, the modelling and calculations results are always close to physical reality.
Furthermore, the Witzenmann project engineers can rely on special computation programs in their day-to-day work with which many of the calculation tasks that occur time and time again during the course for the development work can be solved quickly and efficiently.
